Daniel Lanois: Shine Daniel Lanois, well known for his magical touch at producing albums for U2, Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel released his third and arguably best album yet called Shine. It's a diverse album that just flows from folk to atmospheric grooves to trippy soundscapes. I got to catch his show at the Commodore here in Vancouver recently and was blown away. 		The Bowen Island Music Exchange Compilation CD This is a one of kind CD featuring Bowen Island artists interpreting and recording one another's songs and later performing them at the annual Bowen Island Festival this year. The project is the brainchild of guiarist/singer Sean Pollinger, who also recorded on the CD with his band Decew Falls. Artists featured are Resin, Wayne Kozak, Teun Schut, Gino Rutigliano, Corbin Keep, Chris Corrigan, and myself. I had the pleasure of working creatively with vocalist Bazil Graham on one of Julie Vik's tunes, "Out of Whack".
